Dynamic lip seals and o ring type seals are available in Nitrile material for standard service and fluorocarbon ( viton ) material for sour service. Controls are monitored so as to get correct shore hardness and material composition.

These seals and o rings are readily available at all distribution networks and also available repair kits for SWIVELS, PLUG VALVES.

Nitrile (NBR)

Nitrile is specially formulated to give low temperature flexibility coupled with resistance to most oil well fluids and has excellent resistance to mineral oils. Good resistance to CO2 and explosive decompression.

Fluorocarbon (FPM)

Formulation from a Fluroelastomer gives good service in sour gas conditions. The material has better high temperature properties than Nitrile and resists acids better.
